This post offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for a research coordinator to develop or extend existing project management experience, and to develop significant collaborative working and negotiation skills.

We are looking for a research coordinator who has experience of research project management and is keen to extend their skills and experience into programme management for the remaining 2.5 years of our five-year NIHR funded programme grant on the early detection of psoriatic arthritis. This will require the post-holder to maintain strong collaborative working relationships with researchers from twelve institutions across the UK and with our Patient Research Partners and other stakeholders. The post-holder will also provide project support for a portfolio of other externally and internally funded research projects hosted by the Musculoskeletal Medicine Group within the Health and Clinical Research Theme in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology http://www.bath.ac.uk/pharmacy/research/health-and-clinical-research/index.html

The Musculoskeletal Medicine Group is an internationally renowned multidisciplinary team of epidemiologists, clinicians (rheumatologists), statisticians and basic scientists and has strong collaborative working links with local and national NHS trusts and academic and clinical networks nationally and internationally.

The post is offered at full-time but applications for part-time (no less than 0.6 FTE) will also be considered.

Informal enquiries should be directed to the Head of Group, Prof. Neil McHugh (+44 1225 384228, email N.J.McHugh@bath.ac.uk).
